SPRING TRACK WORK BEGINS

CANDIDATES FOR UNIVERSITY AND FRESHMAN TEAMS REPORT AT FIELD TODAY.

The University and Freshman track teams will start the regular practice for the spring season today. The coaches will be at Soldiers Field from 2.30 o'clock on, and everybody who has had any experience in track athletics is expected to report during the afternoon.

A meeting of all track candidates will be held in Lower Massachusetts this evening at 7.15 o'clock, and all those, who are interested in track in any way, and especially the Freshmen should attend this meeting. W. M. Rand '09, captain of the 1909 track team, and member of the Advisory Committee on Athletics, R. C. Foster '11, and Coaches Quinn and Donovan will speak. Work for the season and plans for the spring vacation will be outlined.

At a meeting of the Athletic Advisory Committee on Saturday, it was decided that there would be no trip extending over the Easter recess. The teams will report for practice on Thursday, April 18.

The first spring meet will be held on Friday, April 12, this meet being the interclass games.
