Twenty-Second Annual Tournament on Jarvis Field, May 11 and 13

The twenty-second annual interscholastic lawn tennis championship in singles will be held on Jarvis Field on Saturday, May 11, and Monday, May 13. All contestants must report to the Secretary at Jarvis Field at 9 o'clock sharp on May 11, and at 2.30 o'clock on other days, or be defaulted. The entrance fee is $1 for each person and $5 for each school. Entries, which must be accompanied by annual dues and entrance fees, will close at 6 o'clock on Friday, May 10. No player will be allowed to compete in more than one interscholastic tournament previous to that played at Newport.

First and runner-up prizes will be given; also a championship shield for the school which wins the greatest number of points, each match actually won counting as one point. In case of rain on May 11, the tournament will begin on the following Monday at 2.30 o'clock.
