Professor T. W. Richards '86, of the department of Chemistry, was presented with a gold medal, in recognition of him discoveries, by the American Chemical Society last evening. He attended the dinner of the society in Chicago, III., and delivered an address on "Atomic Weights." This is the second time that this medical has been awarded. Professor G. A. Arhenius, of Sweden, won a similar prize last year.
