WILLIAMS LOST IN FENCING

University Won Decisive Victory by Score of 8 to 1.

On Saturday afternoon the University fencing team defeated Williams 8 bouts to 1 in the Hemenway Gymnasium. The matches were somewhat more even than the score would indicate, several extra periods being necessary. Reed won the only bout for Williams by defeating Damon by one point after two overtime periods. The teams were as follows: Harvard--S.F. Damon '14 (captain), J.A. Aylen '15, R. von Nardroff '15, T.J. Putnam '15; Williams--W.H. Field, D.S. Mackay, E.L. Reed, and A.L. Swift.

Match with Graduate Team.

Tomorrow the University will hold a tournament with a team representing the graduates composed of: Professor L.J. Johnson '87, Mr. J.R. Nichols '06, and G.B. Wilbur 1M.
