The voluntary rowing season will continue through Wednesday afternoon of this week. During the mid-year period oarsmen are expected to devote themselves to their studies and get sufficient outdoor exercise to be in a healthy condition for the regular season.
Regular rowing for the University crews will start on Monday, February 9. All candidates for the crew should sign the lists posted at the University boat-house before Wednesday of this week in order that the candidates may be divided into provisional eights before February 9, and allowing the rowing to start that day.
The Freshman crews will be started on their regular work as soon after Monday, February 9, as possible, probably on Wednesday of that week. Candidates for the Freshman crew are expected to sign the lists provided for that purpose at the University boathouse before Wednesday evening of this week.
