FRESHMEN ROUNDING INTO FORM

1918 Football Machine Preparing for Exeter Game Saturday

The Freshman football team, which has been working hard for nearly four weeks now, is showing up very well, although it has been somewhat slow in developing.

Scrimmage has been in order for the last two weeks. Yesterday the team played a scrimmage game with Rindge, securing one touchdown while Rindge succeeded only in kicking a goal from field.

Enright, who is a very promising backfield man, has been out of practice for nearly two weeks with a bad knee. He will probably be in condition again by the end of this week, although it is doubtful whether he will be able to play Saturday. Taylor, who received a severe kick in the head about a week ago, has been obliged by his parents to give up playing for the rest of this year.

In yesterday's scrimmage the following men were used: Likins and Condon, ends; Davis and Wheeler, tackles; Cabot, Burr, and Wiggin, guards; Franklin and Derahn, centres; Murray and Robinson, quarters; Horween, Appleton, Horne, Thacher, and Lockwood, backs. Burr, Wiggin, Condon, Robinson, and Murray are all doing very good work.

The first regular game will be played Saturday with Exeter.
