1918 AND SECONDS TO PLAY TODAY

Former Line Up Against Exeter and Latter St. Anselm's College.

The Freshman football team will play its first game of the season this afternoon at 3 o'clock against Exeter at Exeter. Thirty-three men will make the trip in a special car.

The scrimmage during the last week has served to round the men into excellent form, and to develop the team into an efficient football machine. In a scrimmage with the University team on Wednesday they showed up finely, and since then, although the work has been lighter, Coach Withington has been drilling them in the fine points of the game so that they should make a creditable showing against the team which last week defeated the Yale 1918 eleven 14 to 0.

Enright will probably be unable to play, owing to a wrenched knee which he received about two weeks ago, and which is still bothering him. The other members of the team however, are free from injuries.

The following men will start the game: l.e., Conden; l.t., Davis; l.g., Burr; c., Franklin; r.g., Wiggin; r.t., Wheeler; r.e., Likins; q.b., Taylor; r.h.b., Horween; l.h.b., Horne; f.b., Appleton.

Second Team at Manchester.

The first game of the season for the University second football team will be played this afternoon with Saint Anselm's College, at Manchester, N. H. Twenty-two men will make the trip in a special car, returning directly after the game.

The work of the team has been excellent this fall, and there should be little difficulty in securing a victory over the Manchester eleven. The team will line up in the following order: r.e., Stanton (captain); r.t., Coffin; r.g., Strauss; c., Guimaraes; l.g., Townsend; l.t., Brown; l.e., Seaver; q.b., Doherty; r.h.b., Jones; l.h.b., Ellison or Selden; f.b., Woodruff.
