The result of yesterday's race between the two University crews, when for the second time this season the boats finished bow to bow after a mile stretch, is conclusive evidence of the excellent judgment exercised by Captain Murray and Coach Wray in dividing the men into two boats supposed to be of equal worth. As in the previous race the boats went down the course practically even, one forging slightly ahead only to be behind a quarter of a mile further on. As the finish line was approached the stroek was raised from 28 to 33, the boats crossing the line in what was officially declared to be a dead heat.
Lund, who has been rowing Number 4 in Crew B was placed in Brown's place at stroke after the race, stroking the crew home from the Union Boat Club.
