The action of the Debating Council in prohibiting graduates from debating on the University teams has met with general approval in the University. It is fair to Yale and Princeton, the University's opponents in the annual triangular debate who have excluded graduates from their debating teams for some time. Furthermore, it will stimulate undergraduate interest in debating.

A renewed and stronger undergraduate enthusiasm for debating is sure to follow the wise move of the Debating Council.
