The recurrence of warm weather, and the prevalence of injuries among the first string men, combined to lighten the work of the University football squad yesterday afternoon. The coaches gave a great deal of time to individual work with the men, with only a short scrimmage ensuing in the late afternoon.

His presence in the middle of the line helped the situation immeasurably and the line showed a great improvement over the work of the preceding day. Coaches J. Nourse '09, C.
