"All-Star" Championship Proposed

In answer to the proposed post-season game between the eastern and western football champions the University athletic authorities have made a counter proposal. This plan is to have a game between an all-eastern and an all-western team, after the regular season is over. The game would probably be played in Chicago.

The original idea was formulated by Coach Lillard of Andover, who mentioned it here about the time of the Michigan game. The new plan would involve only two or three men from each college, and would be, through the playing on an all-eastern team, more attractive to the men themselves.

The gate receipts are to go to the American Red Cross Fund, for the benefit of the European war sufferers.
