Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
I am eager to call the attention of the students to the concert this evening by Miss Llewellyn not only for its intrinsic importance but because it is the first of a proposed series of concerts by distinguished artists at popular prices, the continuance of which depends on the support given by the student body. Many artists are willing to come to Harvard for merely nominal fees, by reason of their interest in the musical life of the University, and for these concerts the admission price is to be 25 cents. At this rate I think there should be a large attendance and the sound business principle vindicated that many projects can be carried out, if a large number of supporters can be secured at a small price. The attendance of the student body will have to be indicative of whether they wish the series to be given or not. If there is a good audience tentative plans will be ratified; if not, they will be abandoned. W. R. SPALDING '87.
