TALK BY EDITOR OF HERALD

Mr. Robert Lincoln O'Brien '90, editor of the Boston Herald, will lecture on "The Compensations of Journalism" in the Territorial Club Room of the Union at 8 o'clock. His talk will give a general outline of newspaper work and should be of especial interest to those interested in the practical side of journalism. At its conclusion Mr. O'Brien will be glad to answer any questions which may be asked.

Mr. O'Brien was graduated with the class of 1890 and became personal secretary to Grover Cleveland at the time of his nomination for the presidency in 1892. After serving as secretary for three years he was Washington correspondent for the Boston Transcript and in 1906 became its editor. In 1910 he became president of the Boston Herald, and has remained its publisher and editor since that time.
