LAW CLUBS IN AMES COMPETITION

The competition among the Law School clubs for the Ames Prizes is progressing rapidly. Seventeen clubs entered the competition, each club containing a membership of at least eight men. The rules of the competition require that each club argue six cases with competitors determined by the advisors. Four of these seventeen clubs will gain the privilege of competing next year in the final elimination tournament for the first and second Ames Prizes. The fourth round in the competition is now nearly completed, the clubs having obtained the following averages: 1000 per cent., Beale, Bryce, Moody; 666 per cent., Cooley, George-Gray, Kent, Lowell, Marshall, Warren; 500 per cent., Westengard; 333 per cent., Ames-Gray, Harlan, Pow Wow, Witanagemot, Wyman; the Parsons and Langdell clubs have lost all cases argued.
