R. T. P. Storer '14 won the first of the handicap shot-put competitions in the Cage yesterday afternoon with a put of 39 feet, 8 inches aided by a handicap of 3 feet. By a put of 34 feet, 10 inches, H. A. Weis '17, with a handicap of 7 feet, won second place, and J. C. Talbot '15, with the same handicap took third place, putting the shot 34 feet, 9 1-2 inches, C. E. Brickley 15 made the best actual put, 40 feet, 7 1-2 inches.
The series of shot-put competitions will continue until out-door track practice begins. A cup will be presented by the H. A. A. to the man who wins the greatest number of these competitions.
