Senator Henry French Hollis '92, will deliver an address in the Living Room of the Union on Monday evening at 8 o'clock. His subject will be "From One Senator's View Point." Senator Hollis has had a somewhat unusual political career. He started his study of law at the Harvard Law School, but continued it under private instruction. He took up the practice of law in 1893, and soon entered into the state politics of New Hampshire. In 1913, he was elected to the United States Senate on the Democratic ticket; this is a great honor, as New Hampshire is a strongly Republican state. Since he has been at Washington he has been somewhat more influential than most Senators are during their first term, having served on several important committee.
