FOUR NOTEWORTHY LECTURES

Mr. John R. Mott, General Secretary of the World's Christian Student Federation, will deliver the first of the 1914 Hyde Lectures on Foreign Missions in Sanders Theatre this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The subject of the series is "The Present World Situation and his Summons," while today's lecture will be on "The Unique Elements in the Present World Situation." The second and third addresses will be delivered tomorrow and Friday at the same hour, and all are open to the public.

Early Work of Leonardo da Vinci.

Dr. Oswald Siren, of Stockholm, will speak on "Some Drawings and Little Known Early Works by Leonardo da Vinci" in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Art Museum this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The public will be admitted.

Father Officer on Catholic Church.

At the regular weekly meeting of the St. Paul's Society in Phillips Brooks House this evening at 7 o'clock, the Rev. Father Harvey Officer '95, of the Order of the Holy Cross will speak on "The Holy Catholic Church."

Talk on International Relations.

Professor Shosuki Sato, of the Tohoua Imperial University of Japan, will give a lecture in the Cosmopolitan Club rooms, Holyoke 7 and 8, tonight at 9 o'clock. His subject will be "International Relations Between the United States and Japan." The meeting has been arranged by the International Polity Association and is open to all members of the University.
