SHAKE-UP IN ORDER OF CREWS

RADICAL CHANGES YESTERDAY IN FIRST THREE UNIVERSITY BOATS.

A severe shake-up occurred yesterday in the order of the first three University crews. In Crew A, Harwood is rowing at 6 in place of H. S. Middendorf and Morgan is rowing at 2 in place of Talcott who is not rowing at present. H. S. Middendorf went to 4 on crew B, Harwood's former place and Curtis is rowing at 7 in place of Meyer who was shifted to 3. Saltonstall has replaced Murray at bow on crew A, Murray going to bow on crew B. The coxswains are still rowing in the same order as last week. Practice yesterday consisted of a long row for all the boats. Both crew A and crew B went down-stream from Newell Boat House to the Dam and back while crew C rowed up-stream to the Arsenal. The revised order of the crews is as follows:

Crew A.--Stroke, Chanler; 7, Schall; 6, Harwood; 5, Soucy; 4, Gardiner; 3, Reynolds; 2, Morgan; bow, Saltonstall; cox., Sargent.

Crew B.--Stroke, Lund; 7, Curtis; 6, Parson; 5, J. W. Middendorf; 4, H. S. Middendorf; 3, Meyer; 2, Busk; bow, Murray; cox., Gallaher.

Crew C.--Stroke, Chichester; 7, Appollonio; 6, Curwen; 5, Jeffries; 4, E. Reynolds; 3, Wilkinson; 2, Herrick; bow, Carver; cox., Kreger.
