NEW COURSE IN LAW SCHOOL

Mr. Frankfurter Will Leave Government Service to Instruct in New Field of Practical Nature.

Mr. Felix Frankfurter, law officer of the Bureau of Insular Affairs in the War Department, has accepted the professorship of an entirely new field of instruction in the Law School next year. His courses will include the public service laws, criminal law practice, and modern penal administration and legislation. In all of these branches Mr. Frankfurter has had a wide and practical experience. The purpose in entering this new field is to meet the need for scientific legislation and administration caused by the growing complexity of social and industrial life; and to answer the call for more trained men who can solve the specific problems involved.

Mr. Frankfurter graduated from the Harvard Law School in 1906 and has since been prominent in governmental affairs at Washington.

Several other changes have been made in the Faculty for next year. Austin Wakeman Scott A.B., LL.B. '09 has been appointed Professor of Law, and Edward Henry Warren A.B. '95, LL.B. '00, Storey Professor of Law. In addition there are two new lecturers and one instructor: Allan Reuben Campbell A.B. '99, LL.B. '02, Lecturer on New York Practice; Odin Roberts A.B. '86, A.M. and LL.B. '91, Lecturer on Patents; and Curtis Worth Chenoweth A.M. '13, Instructor in Public Speaking.
