WINS BOTH VICTORY AND TITLE

The Cornell University lacrosse team won the championship title of the Northern Division of the United States Lacrosse League by defeating Harvard 7 to 2 in a hotly contested game in the Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Randolph, of Cornell, scored the first goal in 10 minutes, 6 seconds, and the performance was immediately repeated by Danforth. Abbe then tallied first for Harvard, but the University team was unable to tie the score.

In the second half, Cornell's first attack, Danforth, proved to be the star of the game by making four more goals, as much by individual skill as through the aid of team-work.

F. E. Abbe '14 played a fast game at in-home and made shot after shot at Cornell's cage only to be stopped by the quick work of Bush, the Cornell guard.

The University players worked together admirably but were outclassed in stick-work by the visitors.
