Johns Hopkins on Soldiers Field

The University lacrosse team will finish its season with a game against Johns Hopkins on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The Maryland team defeated the University on the Southern trip by the score of 11 to 3, but little practice had been held up that time, the game being Harvard's first contest.

Last Saturday Cornell, by defeating the University team, secured the championship of the northern division of the Intercollegiate Lacrosse League, the defeat costing Harvard the first lacrosse championship lost since 1907. Today's contest, therefore, while of interest in that it is the first appearance of Johns Hopkins on Soldiers Field, is not a championship game.

Captain Brundage '14 who sprained his ankle last Saturday will be in the line-up today, although he may not be able to play throughout the game. The Harvard team will line up as follows: Cochran, g.; Little, p.; Harrington, c.p.; O'Neill, 1d.; Catton, 2d.; Beal, 3d.; Nash, c.; Brundage (captain), 3a.; Nightingale 2a.; Elliott, 1a.; Fleming, o.h.; Abbe, i.h.
