There were 4222 foreign students in attendance at colleges and universities in the United States last year, according to figures just compiled by the United State Bureau of Education. This is an increase of 577 in two years. Canada has the largest representation with 656 students. China and Japan are not far behind, there being 594 Chinese students and 336 from Japan.
