Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The University tennis team made a clean sweep in its contest with Dartmouth yesterday, winning all nine matches in straight sets. The Harvard players had little trouble in disposing of their opponents, for only one of the sets went to extra games.
The success of the team promises well for the rest of the season and fully justifies the organization of a second team to represent the University.
The scores were as follows:
Doubles--Williams and Whitney beat Webber and Doyle, 6-3, 6-2; Washburn and Armstrong beat Pray and Tarman, 6-2, 6-3; Hastings and Woods beat Smith and Livermore, 6-2, 6-0.
Singles--Williams beat Webber, 6-1, 6-3; Whitney beat Doyle, 6-3, 6-1; Washburn beat Livermore, 6-1, 6-0; Armstrong beat Tarmon, 6-3, 6-1; Woods beat Pray, 7-5, 6-3; Hastings beat Smith 6-0, 6-0.
