Colby will face the University baseball team on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock. This contest should not be as hard a one as any of the last three that Harvard has played. Colby has won but one out of six games, Dartmouth being its only victim. One game, however, was also lost to Dartmouth. Bates, Maine and Vermont are the other colleges which have defeated Colby, Vermont winning twice.
Mahan and Water man will do the battery work for Harvard, the remainder of the order being the same as announced for the Lafayette game.
Lafayette Tomorrow?
Three games in as many days may be the work for the University baseball team if present plans work out. The game with Lafayette which was called off Tuesday because of rain may be played tomorrow afternoon, Manager Hood making definite arrangements today. Since the only question is whether the visitors can make satisfactory train connections, there should be no trouble in scheduling the game.
