The Freshman baseball team lost its final game to Yale 1917 at New Haven last Saturday by the score of 2 to 0. The Freshmen outbatted Yale five hits to two, but Yale played errorless ball, while the Harvard misplays aided the scoring to a large extent.
Willcox and Harte did excellent work for the 1917 team, each getting two hits, and Willcox allowing only two hits while striking out nine men.
Yale's runs were made in the fourth and fifth innings, when they got their two hits and the Freshmen made three costly errors. Legore, the Yale captain, played the bast game for the New Haven team.
