To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

In reply to the letter of the Wilson Club the Republican Club accepts the challenge for a joint discussion of the campaign's issues with the greatest of pleasure.

Since the chairman of the Forum Committee, R. T. Fry '17, has already made plans for a meeting of the Forum to consider the arguments of both parties in the present fight, the Republican Club suggests that the joint discussion between the two parties be held at this meeting. In this way a greatest number of political enthusiasts can put forward their arguments than if a formal debate between selected members of the Republican and Democratic clubs was held.

The Republican Club wishes to announce that Senator Henry Cabot Lodge and Edward A. Thurston, chairman of the Massachusetts State Committee, will speak at the rally of the Harvard Republican Club on Monday night, October 23, in the Living Room of the union. Senator Lodge has cancelled numerous engagements in order to be present at this meeting, because he desires greatly to speak to Harvard undergraduates on the serious questions before the voters of this country. G. B. BLAINE '17,   President, Republican Club.
