The Eliot Boat Club secured the Filley Cup for one year when the Eliot first crew defeated Thayer first by a length of open water over the one and seven-eights mile course yesterday afternoon. By this they gained four points, making the total score Eliot 5, Thayer 4. The members of Eliot first all receive individual cups.
University A won over B by a quarter length in ten minutes, 49 seconds, and University D defeated C by three-quarters of a length in 11 minutes 21 seconds over the same course.
