University crews A, B, and C remained unchanged during yesterday's practice. Several shifts occurred in crew D, however, Canfield '19, who has been rowing at 6, changed places with Emery '19, whose former position was 2; Cobb '19 was shifted to bow, T. Fisher '18 to 5, and Whittemore '17 to 3.

R. S. Emmet '18, who captained the Freshman crew last year, is expected to join the squad next week. He has been suffering from an attack of the grip for the past week and has not yet been out for practice.

Six Freshmen eights were on the river yesterday, the second and third fours, of each dormitory doubling up. The third Gore and Standish crews, and the third and fourth Smith were still in four oared shells.
