The Right Reverend Logan Herbert Roots '91, D.D., Bishop of Hankow, China, will preach in Appleton Chapel tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. Bishop Roots is a graduate of the Episcopal Theological School of Cambridge, in the class of 1896, and received the degree of D.D. from the University of the South in 1906. He went to China in 1896 and became bishop in the Protestant Episcopal Church for the missionary service of Hankow in 1904.
Officers of the University should enter at the north door of the chapel and students at the south door, unless accompanied by friends, when they should enter at the west door. The gallery is open to the public.
Bishop Roots will conduct morning prayers in Appleton Chapel every morning next week at 8.45 o'clock.
