F. D. Roosevelt '04, Assistant Secretary of the Navy, will give an address on the Training Cruise for Civilians at the Harvard Club of Boston this evening at 8.30 o'clock.
No one is better qualified to speak on the subject of a "Naval Plattsburg" than Mr. Roosevelt, as he is in close touch with naval affairs at Washington from the nature of his office. The idea of a "Cruise," whereby those interested in marine matters may learn something about the workings of the Navy, was evolved mostly by him and this evening he will endeavor to clear up any difficulties or misunderstandings concerning it.
All undergraduates have been tendered a cordial invitation to this lecture, and the committee in charge of the "Cruise" has expressed the hope that those who have not made any definite plans for the summer will attend and learn the advantages accruing from such an experience as the projected "Cruise" offers.
Admission tonight will be by tickets, which may be obtained free at the CRIMSON office.
