TENNIS SQUAD OFF FOR HANOVER

The University tennis team will leave the Square this afternoon at 3.15 o'clock for Hanover, N. H., where it will meet Dartmouth tomorrow afternoon in the second of the intercollegiate matches scheduled for this season. The following will make the trip: Captain R. N. Williams, 2d, '16, G. C. Caner '17, W. Rand, 3d, '17, J. S. Pfaffman '17, H. G. M. Kelleher '18, W. D. D. Morgan '18, A. F. Doty '16, and Assistant Manager M. P. Geraghty '17.

In the continuation of the tournament for the University Championship in Singles on Jarvis Field yesterday afternoon, the following were the results of the matches: H. R. Guild '17 defeated A. G. Aldis '17, 6-0, 6-0; R. Kennedy uC. defeated R. G. Richards '16, 8-6, 6-0; D. Duncan '18 defeated G. W. B. Hartwell '17, 6-3, 6-2; A. S. Peabody '16 defeated E. A. LeRoy '16, 6-3, 6-3; C. N. Stone uC. defeated A. A. Cameron '17, 6-3, 6-3; W. Edgar '16 defeated W. W. Weld '16, 6-3, 8-6.

This afternoon the following matches will be played on Jarvis Field: At 2.15--P. Townsend '18 vs. W. W. Rice '18. At 2.45--D. Duncan '18 vs. H. Morgan '17. At 3.45--H. R. Guild '17 vs. the winner of Rice and Townsend. There will be no tournament matches tomorrow.

There will be no second team trial matches today, but the following matches will be played in the continuation of Freshman trials, on Jarvis Field, this afternoon: At 2.15--C. J. Coulter '19 vs. L. K. Garrison '19. At 4.15--R. C. Rand '19 vs. F. P. Ritchie '19; R. H. Kissel '19 vs. F. W. Hatch '19; F. M. Warburg '19 and L. K. Garrison '19 vs. P. E. Stevenson '19 and H. C. Smith '19.
