The Freshman interdormitory baseball series will open on Soldiers Field this afternoon when Gore will meet Standish at 2.30 o'clock. A cup will be awarded to the team winning the series, and possibly individual medals to the players. All Freshmen who are planning to play, should report to their respective captains each day on which their respective teams are scheduled to play, at 2.30 o'clock. No cutting of afternoon classes for the series will be allowed.
Managers of the three teams will be appointed within a few days. All equipment, except baseballs and chest protectors, must be furnished by the individual player. The Athletic Association will furnish the latter, which may be obtained by the captains or managers at the office of the Athletic Association by their signing for the articles taken. All game scores should be returned to the CRIMSON office by 7 o'clock on the day of each game.
Joseph Daniels Hale, of South Boston, has been elected captain of the Freshman lacrosse team.
