Fall track work will start with a meeting of all candidates for the Freshman and University track and cross-country teams in the Locker Building this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Plans for the fall season will be outlined. The track authorities consider it especially important for Freshmen and inexperienced candidates to report for fall practice in order that they may profit by the greater attention which they can receive from the coaches at this time.
Practice for the University cross-country squad, which began a week ago under the direction of Coach Shrubb, has proceeded with rather easy work so that candidates who should report today will not be handicapped materially.
