Twelve Retained in Debating Trials.

Twelve men are retained for the final trials for the University debating team to be held in the New Lecture Hall on Saturday. Each man will be allowed a 12-minute speech and a five-minute rebuttal on the question:

Saturday at 3 o'clock the affirmative speakers will be S. N. Dunton '18, J. H. Spitz '17, and L. Dennis '19; negative speakers, J. Davis '19, L. Brentano '18, and C. C. Fraser '18. At 7 o'clock the affirmative speakers will be D. Davis '18, W. A. Hosmer '18 and A. R. Ginsbergh '17; negative speakers, J. T. Noonan '19, A. G. Aldis '17 and W. L. Prosser '18 in the order given.
