At a meeting of the Phillips Brooks House cabinet it was voted to offer to the Cambridge Red Cross the privilege of establishing headquarters in the House in the event of an outbreak of hostilities between the United States and Germany. The Red Cross workers will be allowed the use of the rooms for making bandages and for other purposes, but the work of the Phillips Brooks House Association will continue as usual.
