The election of Freshman Class officers which was held in the Standish Hall Common Room yesterday, from 8.30 to 6 o'clock resulted in the officers being chosen as follows:

President--Henry Francis Colt, of Geneseo, N. Y.

Vice-president--Mitchell Gratwick, of Buffalo, N. Y.

Secretary-treasurer--Myles Pierce Baker, of Cambridge.

Student Council representative--Howard Elliott, Jr., of Boston.

Three hundred and twenty one ballots were cast, of which five were not made out correctly. Except as regards the Student Council representative the system of preferential voting was used throughout, the candidates with the lowest total being elected.

The following table is a detailed account of the number of votes received by each of the nineteen nominees.

President--Henry Francis Colt, 820; Richmond Keith Kane, 963; John Crocker, 964; Benjamin Appleton Hunneman, 976; Harold Benedict Bross 1282; Charles True Adams, 1374.

Vice-president--Mitchell Gratwick, 771; Donald Angier, 804; George Van Sicklen Smith 880; Arthur Aylman Fisk, Jr., 944; Henry Wilson Hardy, 1167.

Secretary-treasurer--Myles Pierce Baker, 518; Edwin Clapp Lincoln, 537; Ralph Pratt Hoagland, Jr., 762.

Student Council representative--Howard Elliott, Jr., 77; Richard Neale Greenwood, 68; Louis Butler McCagg, Jr., 67; Joseph Edward Lumbard, 54; Philip Mason Sears, 50.
