FRESHMAN MATMEN VICTORIOUS

Defeated Tufts 1922 by Score of 13-4.--J. F. Brown Chosen Captain.

In their first meet of the season the 1922 wrestlers defeated the Tufts Freshmen by a score of 13-4 in the Randolph Gymnasium yesterday. The Freshmen scored points in all but one of the bouts, winning one fall and three decisions. Before the meet J. F. Brown, the heavy-weight wrestler, who had no opponent yesterday, was elected captain.

The summary of bouts is as follows: 125-lb. class, E. L. Sutcliffe '22 defeated Sulesky on decision; 135-lb. class, G. V. Smith '22 defeated Shay by a fall; 145-lb. class, T. Strong '22 defeated O'Donnell on decision; 158-lb. class, E. Weather-head '22 defeated Sanders on decision; 175-lb. class, C. C. Macomber '22 lost to Silver on a fall.
