LEAGUE CONGRESS OPENS TODAY

PRES. LOWELL WILL PRESIDE AT 1st SESSION.--TAFT AND VAN DYKE SPEAK.

The New England Congress for a League of Free Nations opens at the Tremont Temple this morning at 10.30 o'clock. President Lowell will be the presiding officer at the first session, and addresses will be made by Hon. William Howard Taft, Dr. Henry Van Dyke '94, Governor, Coolidge, and Mayor Andrew J. Peters '95.

Seats will be reserved for University delegates up to fifteen minutes before the opening of the meeting. Delegates should register at the Bellevue Hotel this morning and receive badges necescary for admittance to the reserved seats.

Today's program at the congress is as follows:

10.30 A. M. Tremont Temple. Presiding Officer, President Lowell. Invocation, Dr. Lemuel H. Murlin.
