At a meeting of all the "Y" men in Yale held at New Haven this week, the plans for the organization of a "Y" Club for Yale athletes were completed. Contrary to the conception given by the name, the club is not meant to be exclusively for men who have won their letter, but for all members of the University who are trying for any major or minor sport team. It is also planned to have training tables for every branch of sport as far as possible.

Another phase of work which the club is to carry out is the housing and caring for visiting teams. At present there are no adequate facilities at New Haven to provide for the athletes of outside universities, and the new club is to fill this want.

A building, situated in the central portion of New Haven, has been secured as a temporary club house. This structure, which is owned by the university, includes about twenty-five rooms which will provide ample space for the present. However, it will be necessary to make several changes and improvements in the rooms, and to furnish them before they installed, which will be equipped with modern cooking facilities. In addition to this, there will be several dining rooms, as well as living and rest rooms.

A committee of five "Y" men has been appointed to investigate the problems of organization, and to draw up a constitution for the club. It is hoped that the club house will be ready for occupancy before the end of this seasion.
