ENGINEERING SCHOOL WILL GIVE 7 SUMMER COURSES

Announcement of the summer session of the Engineering School, which will begin June 2, and will continue until August 8, was made yesterday by Professor H. M. Hughes. The schedule includes courses for all Engineering School men except present third-year men in Civil Engineering who should consult Professor Hughes at once about their summer work.

For all others the schedule is as follows:

For present third-year men in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering, June 2 to June 27, Inclusive, 5 mornings and two afternoons; Mechanics, June 30 to July 18, inclusive, 5 mornings and 2 afternoons; Heat Engineering, July 21 to August 8, inclusive, 5 morning and 2 afternoons; Shop work June 2 to August 8, inclusive 3 afternoons a week.

For present second-year men a course in Shop work will be given from June 30 to August 8, inclusive, daily sessions, 9-12 and 1-4,

A course in Statics (Engineering Science 5b) will be given from June 30 to August 8 if enough students apply before June 7. Applications should be sent in writing to 223 Pierce Hall.

A course in Railroad and Topographic Surveying will be given from June 30 to August 8, inclusive in Cambridge, meeting five days a week, two session daily, 9-12, 1-5. This course requires in preparation a course in Plain Surveying and Plane trigonometry and Logarithms. This course will be limited to about 100 men.
