The Freshman football season will open on Monday with a meeting of all candidates for the managership at the Athletic Association at 1.30 o'clock. Candidates for the team will report at the same place at 4 o'clock, where they will listen to a talk by Major Paul Withington '09, who will coach the Freshmen this year. The first workout will consist of drill in the elements of the game; practicing starts, falling on the ball, passing, etc. After Monday regular daily practice will continue throughout the season, which will last until the Yale game on November 15.
First Contest October 11.
The schedule of Freshman games is as follows:
October 11.-Worcester Academy at Cambridge.
October 18.-Groton at Groton.
October 25.-Exeter at Cambridge.
November 1.-Andover at Andover.
November 8.-Princeton 1923 at Cambridge.
November 15.-Yale 1923 at New Haven.
(The Princeton game will be played in the Stadium).
