HOLD ONLY 1921 SMOKER OF YEAR NEXT THURSDAY

An unusually interesting and entertaining program has been arranged for the only Junior smoker of the year, which is to be held on next Thursday evening at 8 o'clock in the Living Room of the Union. At this time the class will vote on the amendments to the constitution of the three lower classes, proposed by the Student Council, to arouse interest in class elections, and already passed by the Freshmen and Sophomores at their last smokers. By requiring 60 per cent. of the members of the class affected as the minimum number of votes to make an election valid, and providing for additional balloting at intervals of not more than 10 days until the necessary three-fifths are cast, it is expected that in the future, class officer elections will be more representative than in the past.

After this matter is voted upon, the Class Treasurer, R. E. Larsen, will read his report of the class finances for the year. President Wendell Davis will then give a short talk on matters of interest to the class. Two spectacular and sensational movies will next be shown, Charles Ray in "The Egg-Crate Wallop," and a rapid Mack Sennett comedy, entitled "Salome vs. Shenandoah."

Between the reels and during the early part of the evening the class will be led in organized singing of University and favorite songs by J. F. Lautner '21, who has recently been appointed to serve on the Entertainment Committee with T. H. Mills (chairman), H. R. Atkinson and J. Cowles.

Music will be furnished during the evening by the Harvard University Band. The usual refreshments will be served.
