Tufts Nine Defeats Yale 4-0

NEW HAVEN, Conn., June 9.--In a slow game played here today the Yale baseball team lost to Tufts 4-0. The invaders' fast twirler, Morrell, was largely instrumental in determining the outcome of the contest, his speed and curves holding the Elis to only four hits, on which they were unable to score. Slamming out eight hits, the Medford players kept the Eli fielders busy and succeeded in tallying on half of them in spite of the airtight Yale defence. Though committing five errors to their opponents' none, the visitors made up by extra heavy hitting and clever base-running. The batteries were as follows: Tufts, Morrell, Keefe; Yale, Hager and Seleck, Coxe and Peters.
