TO ORGANIZE SCHOOL CLUBS IN UNIVERSITY

Committee Appointed Last Year to Meet Tonight and Continue Work Begun in May--To Help in Work of New Entertainment Committee

The School Clubs Committee, appointed by the Student Council last May, will meet tonight to undertake the task of bringing organization and cooperation into the various school clubs. The appointment of the committee was the result of the general opinion in the University that some sort of organization was needed to correct a state of affairs which had steadily been growing worse, with a continuing disorganization of school clubs. The main difficulty had been a notable lack of hospitality for visiting school teams on the part of the University; and with respect to the University, not only a distinct lack of correct information in the schools, but also a noticeable presence of misinformation and misrepresentation. The purpose of the committee is, in short, the more efficient organization of existing school clubs and the formation of new ones from schools where none exist.

Questionnaires were sent out last year to the school clubs and an attempt was made to bring about their greater activity. This year, the School Clubs Committee will begin by getting in touch with the presidents of all such clubs and will aid the new entertainment committee, to be appointed by the Student Council, in caring for visiting school teams. The committee at present consists of the following: R. R. Higgins '22, chairman; Melville P. Baker '22, secretary; D. F. Bush '23, P. E. Wilson '23, R. P. Bullard '24, and F. A. O. Schwartz '24.

All communications for the committee should be sent to Baker, at the Crimson Building.
