The annual fall handicap track meet open to all members of the University will be held this afternoon on the new track at Soldiers Field. As only eleven events are scheduled, it is planned to run off both track and field events in one afternoon. More than one hundred men have already entered the various events, but additional entries may be made, and handicaps received, on the field before the meet begins. The winners of the first three places in each event will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals.

The University track squad, having worked nearly four weeks, will not practice again until the regular winter work begins after the Christmas recess. However, Freshmen who have chosen track to fulfill their physical training requirements will continue training three times a week indoors.

The pole vault, broad jump, and high jump will be run off first this afternoon, the other events coming as follows:

4.00.--120-Yard Low Hurdles.

4.05.--880-Yard Run.
