"Airplane views of the Alps" is the title of an illustrated public lecture to be delivered tonight at 8 o'clock in the Geological Lecture Room of the University Museum by Professor W. M. Davis '69.
This address is the first of a series of five public lectures to be given on Monday evenings in the Geological Lecture Room under the auspices of the Department of Geology. The dates and titles of the other addresses are as follows:
December 19.--"Earthquakes and the Seismograph" by Professor J. B. Wood-worth '94.
January 9.--"Origin of Oil Fields" by Dr. Eliot Blackwelder.
January 16.--"Origin of Ores" by Professor L. C. Graton.
January 28.--"Thunderstorms of the United States" by Professor R. De C. Ward '89.
