With the formal opening of the season for the University and Freshman rifle teams today, squads will hold their initial practice from 2 to 6 o'clock this afternoon on the new Smith Halls range.

Four rifles, which the management has ordered, will be at the range sometime this week. Until their arrival members of the squad will supply their own. Ammunition will be bought by the management and will be sold at cost to the squad.

A meet between the University and Freshman teams will probably be held before the Christmas recess. After this shoot, the Freshman captain will be elected.
