NAMES OF MEN PLACED ON DEAN'S LIST GIVEN

List Published So That Men Who Wish to Leave Early for Christmas Holidays May Make Plans--Explain Requirements Necessary for Place on List

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In order that men intending to avail themselves of the privileges of the Dean's list by leaving early for the Christmas vacation may find out their status, the CRIMSON prints below a list of the men who are at present on the Dean's List. This list is made up on the basis of the final examinations in June, 1921, and except in the cases of error, no changes will be made in it before midyears.

There seems to be considerable doubt in the minds of undergraduates as to just what is required before a man can be placed on the Dean's List. Men whose rank entitles them to Group I or II of the Rank List, are on the Dean's List. Men whose place on the Rank List is Group III, and who are candidates for degrees with distinction, are also eligible for the Dean's List, provided that at their last examination period, they had no unsatisfactory grades. In this connection, it is to be noted that the November and April Hours do not count either to place a man on the Dean's List, or to remove him from it in case his record should be below standard at this time. In other words, a man whose record in June entitles him to Dean's List privileges, will

not lost these privileges before midyears of the following year, except, of course, in the case of misconduct.

The Dean's Office hopes that any man who feels that he is entitled to the privileges of the Dean's List at this time, and whose name may have been omitted through error, will consult his Assistant Dean as soon as posible. The Dean's List for the first half of the year 1921--22 is as follows:
