SCRUB SEVEN GAME CALLED OFF

Warm Weather Prevents Contest With Browne and Nichols

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Warm weather and soft ice prevented the game between the second University hockey team and Browne and Nichols, which was scheduled for yesterday at the Charlesbank Rinks. The second stickmen have had no practice since they blanked an informal team of graduates last Saturday, but in preparation for a game with Pomfret tomorrow. Manager Tison has called practice for today in the hope that the weather may be cold enough to give his men one day's workout at least before they meet the schoolboys.

A game against Pomfret was proposed for the Freshmen last week, but the plans were never definitely arranged and the proposal fell through. The Connecticut school has its entire forward line back from last year and has had a fairly successful season thus far.
