Candidates Will Give Five-Minute Speeches on Subject of Irish Government

Trials for the Freshman debating team will be held next Monday evening at 7 o'clock in Harvard 6, according to plans made by the Debating Club. The men are to speak on either side of the question. "Resolved: That Ireland should be granted immediate independence." Each speech is to be five minutes long. This subject will probably be chosen for the debate with Yale and Princeton, which is to be on April 18.
